Professional Brand
(Wine Wars)
This case-based session starts with an analysis of the Australian Wine Industry and the branding challenges presented to grape farmers in the early 2000’s. Participants will debate long-term approaches to brand-building as it pertains to wine, customers, and themselves. Each participant will work on their own professional brand strategy based on their unique set of values. In addition, participants will learn how to maintain and adapt their brand for their organization’s culture.
Business Ethics
(Whistleblowing)

Participants are asked to analyze the ethical issues from the perspective of culture and bias. Participants work in groups to chart long-term and short-term change solutions.
Diversity
(Hidden Figures)
This situational storyline of an evolving culture depicts the impact and transcendence of implicit bias at the NASA workplace in the 1960’s. Bias contributes to inciting incidents and actions through three individuals who hold key relationships with NASA leadership. As change begins to take place, participants are asked to identify which biases are at play and what should be done to make sustainable change. Participants are asked to examine their ability to identify with implicit bias and develop a sense of impact on culture and goals.
Equity
(Battle of the Sexes)
This case study is based on the popular tennis match of Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. This match was the culmination of a change effort by ‘The Original 9’, meant to address compensation inequity between men and women. This effort led to the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), which is still in place today.
