Meet Emily

Emily Pryor is TMG’s Head of Content Development and Program Management. With a degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware, Emily brings a deep understanding of human behavior to her specialized focus in behavioral training facilitation. Emily has assisted in coaching TEDx speakers from concept to stage and has contributed to the development of impactful conference speeches for senior executives and public figures for two years. She resides in New York City where she frequently partners with TMG clients, executive coaches, and keynote speakers.

Over the past four years with The Melini Group, Emily has led client facilitation events, executed discovery interviews, coached public speakers, and delivered course instruction. She has co-written speeches for senior leaders, and she has led audience testing to gauge content impact. In addition to leading content development, she leads the curriculum design of our behavioral development programs. She takes the lead on success metrics, adapting the Kirkpatrick Method into our work.

Emily is known for her versatile teaching style, tailoring each session to align with course objectives and learning needs of participants. She leads TMG’s Behavioral Awareness course, using the DiSC Diagnostic. She works to enable individuals to gain powerful insights into their behavioral styles and build greater self-awareness. She distinguishes the difference between traits and behaviors and how this deeper knowledge of self-awareness can transform workplace culture.

Emily enjoys a variety of artistic hobbies, including clay sculpture, crochet, and drawing.

with DiSC

The DiSC Diagnostic process results in a comprehensive personal profile with a shelf-life of 1-3 years. The course drives an introspection on behavioral tendencies and preferences; it provides practical insights into social awareness and behavioral impact in teams and relationships.

Participant use the DiSC profile as a tool to manage tension, navigate difficult conversations, and raise self-awareness in normal and abnormal conditions.
