Tom and Tina Sjögren (T&T) are explorers and pioneers who are the 4th and 5th humans to have completed the Three Poles Challenge - summiting Mount Everest and leading unsupported expeditions to both the North and South Poles. Tina is the first woman to complete the challenge and T&T are the first married couple to achieve the feat. They broke broadcasting records on two of their three expeditions: the world altitude broadcasting record on Mount Everest and the first live audiovisual broadcast from the Antarctic ice cap in November 2001. T&T were on Mount Everest in the fateful climbing season of 1996. They made a tough decision to turn back when faced with risks too great to take. T&T also sailed unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean following Christopher Columbus’s exact route and timing.

Currently, T&T have their sights set on a new vision. Their team, Pythomspace, is rapidly planning their next voyage - to explore the universe. They have secured seed funding for an expedition to Mars.
