Business Ethics (Whistleblowing)

Course Type: Case Study

This case study follows stories of public health, privacy, and hostile environment issues that involved systemic and conscious decision-making. Participants are asked to analyze the ethical issues from the perspective of culture and bias. Participants work in groups to chart long-term and short-term change solutions.

Objectives

  • To gain self-awareness of ethics and how ethics impact an individual’s work

  • To learn how ethics are part of organizational culture from the perspective of common thoughts, behavior patterns, and beliefs

  • To decide how one’s values and ethics should show up in decision-making and leadership
