Houston Offsite
Ahead of contributing to a team offsite in Houston, we worked closely with our client to determine development needs. We conducted a series of discovery interviews to gather data and gain insights. Through our findings, we determined there was a need to foster increased openness between junior employees and managers. This led to a subsequent need for gaining consensus in group decision meetings.
When we conduct team interventions, we often facilitate custom case studies or experiential activities to increase engagement and remove bias. Our case studies often involve role plays and give participants a chance to explore their needs in a unique setting. For this event we chose our Cuban Missile Crisis case study.
In addition to the case study, we delivered a custom session on Behavioral Styles (DiSC Diagnostic). This session reviewed how to use the DiSC Profile as a tool for fostering connection between junior employees and managers.
Following the event, TMG synthesized data from the session and recommended actions for our client.
